The Chicago Chapter held the Kids Protest Against Racism was held on June 13, 2020 spearheaded by
Mothers Alexis Hart McDowell and Tonya Primus.

At the 44th National Convention for Jack and Jill of America, Inc., our Kids Protest and two of our teens, Jaden Blake and Jarrett Blake, who helped lead the protest, won the inaugural National Freedom to Dream Award for the Mid-Western Region. We also received the 1st place award for Advocacy at the Midwest Regions Mothers Conference in summer 2021. Additionally, we received the 3rd Place award for the National Advocacy Excellence Legislative Onyx Award during the On the Hill Summit in September 2021.
