Community Health Fair & Blood Drive

The Chicago COE sponsored Health Fair & Blood Drive was held on April 6, 2025 at the American Red Cross, located at 2200 W. Harrison St., Chicago, IL 60612. This event offered free health examinations, physical and mental wellness activities, and a blood drive in support of our beloved Associate Jewel Yvonne Blake, legacy Jaden Blake and the Jaden Sebastian Blake Foundation. The Chicago Chapter presented the Jaden Sebastian Blake Foundation with a check to further its mission with the American Red Cross. Youth had the opportunity to earn service hours by preparing blessing bags for those in need.
We had many presenters, vendors and community organizations on site as well. This public event was a wonderful opportunity to prioritize health and wellness while making a meaningful contribution to the community. A special thanks to all the COE Jack and Jill Chapters, Chicago Chapter President Erika Menefee, to our Service Committee Chairs Miyoshi Brown, Colleen Honore Dodson, Christian Johnson, & IP Chair Patricia Robinson , and Regional Chaplain/Editor Trevia Castillo for their contributions and hard work for this event! |
